The Nelson Dam at your second Waypoint is the target in this mission for two B-52Gs out of Rafha. Your mission is to clear a path to dam. Kill any and all AAA and SAM sites around the dam to ensure that the B-52Gs are not harmed.

The other three F-18s in your flight will target the AAA sites around the dam with Mavericks and MK82HD bombs. You are to concentrate on the SAM sites... then clear up any remaining AAA sites which the other F-18s may have missed.

Follow Hornet Two at 1,000 feet AGL and 420KIAS to your target area via the Initial Point at Waypoint 1.

Four F-16 "Vipers" will launch behind you to CAP between Waypoint 1 and Waypoint 2 in case your flight is intercepted by the IQAAF. Two more F-16s are on a CAP about Safwan Airbase... this is a maximum effort strike!

You must protect the B-52Gs until they land back at Rafha. US Army Special Forces scouts, observing Ghalaysan New IQAAF Airbase, have spotted a number of Mig-21s being readied for flight in the last hour. Be alert for Migs arriving from the North West.

I made the second kill when this other dude drifted over my way. I pulled my nose up and close to wihin 500 feet and started firing into his tailpipe. He began burning and I was so close that I was near blinded by the dense smoke. I pulled out and got out of it just in time. I watched the pilot eject himself and float to the ground - Major Bolt in the Korean War
